Photos: new American Express Centurion Studio lounge in Seattle

American Express continues to bolster its airport lounge network with its Centurion Studio lounge in Seattle.
Located past security in Sea-Tac's Concourse B and adjacent to gate B4, the Centurion Studio is accessible to passengers departing on any domestic or international flight – just allow adequate time to walk to your departure gate:
The first thing you'll notice as you approach the Seattle Studio is that it's much more cosy than the 'regular' Centurion lounges...
... and as a result, only AMEX cardholders with a Platinum or Centurion charge card (including from Australia) may enter – there's no option for other cardholders to pay US$50 for a one-time visit as there is in the full Centurion lounges.
Should you make the cut, you'll be greeted by the signature living wall and a lounge with natural light and warm tones...
... moving into a larger sitting area:
The adjacent buffet serves up light snacks and sweet treats – although not hot food – plus a choice of beer, wine, coffee and soft drink.
Wireless Internet comes free, as you'd expect, while you can also catch up on the day's events or indulge a good book in the small media wing:
The opening of Seattle's Centurion Studio follows Miami's addition to the AMEX lounge map in June and joins AMEX's other US lounges San Francisco, Las Vegas, Dallas/Fort Worth and New York.

What I like about Amex is that they really spend well on their furniture. Take for instance - https://www.executivetraveller.com/photos/view/maxsize:467,349/Chris/american-express-centurion-studio-lounge-seattle-entrance.jpg, the chair in this picture is a Steelcase (Coalesse) Wing Chair, designed by Hans Wegner - this retails for about $6000!
Obviously Amex must have a deal because I've seen this in quite a few lounges - but Amex spends better than some International First class lounges do, and that should be commended even if users may never know how good a chair is apart from how it looks.
