Brisbane Airport serves up 'Big Obama' hamburger

US President Barack Obama flies into Brisbane Airport on Air Force One for the G20 Summit on Saturday November 15, but his touchdown has been preceded by the arrival of the Big Obama hamburger.

This mega-burger is now being served at airport eatery Windmill & Co at the international terminal.

It's described as being "a Presidentially-proportioned 27cm tall gourmet burger featuring two Angus beef patties, coleslaw, onion rings, three slices of Colby Jack Cheese, caramelised onions, spinach, tomato and dill pickled cucumbers topped with All American mustard on a crisp, sweet brioche bun."

On the side is a small stack of battered Bad Boy Chips.

Windmill & Co owner George Drivas said President Obama was famous for his love of cheeseburgers.

"We drew inspiration from the President’s favourite food and flavours and added the fresh, local produce the First Lady would approve of to create what we think is the best burger in the free world" Drivas explained.

The Big Obama burger is available throughout November at Windmill & Co restaurant on Level 3 Departures of the International Terminal.
