Emirates J/F reward booking with Qantas FF points?
Hi all, just a quick one, are Emirates F or J flights (on their A380) available to book with QF points and through the Qantas reward booking page. Iv tried a bunch of dummy bookings and can only see F/J flights on QFA380. Just have a truck load of flights and would like to try Emirates sometime in F. If there unavailable thats no major issue, just would be nice to try it out. Thanks
Yes, it is possible to book award EK F flights aboard their A380s on Qantas.com, but availability on certain routes is extremely limited and could be further limited if you don't hold top tier status.
It certainly is possible, I booked and recently completed an Emirates F flight for both myself and my wife from JFK via DXB to SYD on an A380 using Qantas points. Well worth the effort of searching the Qantas site for something to suit your needs. I'm not top tier status, but gold level if that helps.
Thanks for your replies Peter and Chrisor, I will keep checking until I find the flight available. Chrisor you got me thinking when you mentioned JFK, that would be a great way to sample the A380, QF to Dubai and Emirates to JFK.
LTF, I was originally looking for a return J reward flight SYD to JFK, we got that on Qantas via LAX with a 14 hour layover. The return Emirates F ticket popped up and even though it is the long way home who cares when you are in first! Worth the extra distance for the experience.
