I recently emailed Turkish Airlines to request a status match (QFF Gold). After two weeks I got a response saying they only match Platinum or equivalent in other programs.....so I guess you Platinum guys should send through a request, seems like an easy Star Alliance match.

Great share Greg84. Although part of me thinks this was an attempt by a TK staffer to avoid a status match. Good on ya for calling them on it.

Just went through the regular contact form. Selected Miles Program...I also suspect it may be a ploy to brush off, but I'd suggest including the fact Turkish Airlines advised a friend...good luck.
