Access to partner lounges. Looking on the Virgin Australia website you can book Sydney to Singapore via Perth. So the SYD-PER section would be domestic and then PER-SIN International. My question is this is booked on the one ticket, marketed by VA but the PER-SIN sector would be on Singapore Airlines. An Etihad Gold membership would get me into the Sydney domestic lounge. Is there anyway to access the SIA silverkris lounge in Perth using that Etihad membership, being the flight is marketed by VA? I think I already know the answer but was interested to see if there were any work arounds. Thanks in advance and don't need answers stating that you would have to have VA or SIA elite stauts to access the lounge, thanks.

Unfortunately, you will not have access to the lounge in Perth. If the flight had been "operated" by VA, then you certainly would have access. You can find a list of the airlines that allow Etihad Gold members on the Etihad website under the Earn Miles tab, "Partner Airlines"

On the Etihad website, it also references this point as well "For Etihad Guest Platinum, Gold and Silver members on All Virgin Australia OPERATED flights regardless of class of travel...."

IF you do have a fair bit of time after you arrive in PER and before your flight to SIN, then why not relax in the Virgin Australia lounge until you need to go to the international terminal. Given that your bags would have been checked through and you would have received boarding passes, you could spend any spare time at the VA lounge.
