QF Gold flying on Alaskan.

I will be flying from SFO to YVR on Alaskan Airlines later this year. Given that Alaskan is a QFF Partner, will i be granted lounge access?

Thanks

No, lounge access is not part of their partnership.

I wouldn't bother even if you could gain access..

There's nothing published on the Qantas website that mentions access, although the signage at the Board Room in Los Angeles specifically welcomes Qantas frequent flyers, and I personally had no trouble accessing Alaska's lounge before an economy flight with Alaska Airlines when presenting my QFF Gold card.

(It was quite a nice surprise! I was otherwise planning to use my Priority Pass card.)

This may not be the case in San Francisco, but the worst they can do is say no.

There is no Alaska Airlines lounge in SFO or YVR so you will be unable to gain access regardless of trying.

Alaska Airlines has only 4 lounges total: Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, Anchorage. The airlines has contracts with other airlines to provide its Board Room members with access in other cities.

Im an Alaska Airlines MVP Gold member and QFF Gold member and have been refused access to the Board Room. Its a paid membership just like the AA Admirals Club. Hearing that QF flyers are welcome at the LAX location is great and I'll try my luck next time I'm there using my QF card over my AS card. Ha!
