I am traveling on JQ Brisbane to Sydney on 14 June and have noticed that I have the option to add a meal. I have a Plus Bundle which in my previous experience I received a $5 voucher to spend on the trolley.
I noticed I could pre-order a pie, a sandwich or a pizza or for $10 I could add fish and chips. I probably won't be taking up any of these options, but just wondered when this change occurred.

Domestic meals have been around for a while
They are nothing special and the options as you mentioned are limited but I was on a JQ flight up to Townsville the other day and no one had preordered any food or got any food onboard either only some drinks
