I flew a Qantas multi-city booking this month with 2 sectors operated by BA and 3 by QF.

I asked one of the BA sectors to be credited to by Airberlin account whilst the others to be credited to my QF account. BA mistakenly credited the other leg to my AB account. All QF sectors had correctly been credited to my QFF account.

Who would be be in the best position to reverse this out of AB and credit the points/SC to my QF account? Should I just submit a missing points claim via QF since the boarding pass states my QF number and not AB.

Once S/C and points have been credited, thats it.

I have had the same issue with VA/DL. I asked for my points and S/C to be credited to DL but VA sent them to Velocity :-(. I rang DL and VA they said once it has been posted, thats it.

Martin you may be correct with DL and VA but I have different experience.

Last year I had trip CPH-SYD-CPH flying BA all the way booked with QF FF number. After CPH-SYD trip I got my points on QF FF but I decided to ditch QF FF due to their changes and moved to BA EC.During the checking I got my BA number on boarding passes for sectors SYD-SIN-LHR-CPH but points came to my QF FF. Call centre of BA EC said it's not a problem to change it as long QF FF will reject those points. QF FF centre rejected them without problem after I called them and I got my aios to BA within 2 days.

Allansu, I would suggest call BA call centre in HK and ask them for help. You may need to call AB FF centre as well. It will take a bit of calling around but you should be able to get it corrected.

Question is if amount of points to move is worth to do all that calling around?

Thanks both for your info.

Banker you're right, it's probably not worth all the trouble, it's only 40 SC in question, the other 400-odd SC were all credited correctly to QF. I guess I'll try and submit a missing points claim via email to QF and if they aren't able to do anything then I can live with it.
