I was on QF581 SYD to PER (747-400) it was delayed for about 30 minutes for cleaning, so I'm assuming the 747 is used on another flight so i'm guessing QF008.

If it was VH - OJD then no that aircraft is almost exclussively used on QF 581/582.  It has; however, appeared on QF 21/22 a bit over the last few months.  Check theqantassource.com for info on which plane it was and where it came from.  Were there Premim Ecconomy seats onboard?  If so it was not VH - OJD.

  • Since recommencing the SYD - PER service using a B747 the flight has been operated by VH-OJD.  This plane has operated several military charter services from Sydney to Darwin and Rockhampton.    So it possible the plane was late in from these charter services, therefore cleaning was delayed.

OJM, OEG, OEI have operated the QF581/582 rotation on some days in the past week. I believe one of them was recently reconfigured to A380 seat standards
