Qantas SYD double daily HGK A330 or 747/A330?

What's most likely?

Qantas last week cut some Perth-Melbourne flights and downsized the aircraft on some Perth-Sydney flights, while shifting additional capacity onto the Sydney-Brisbane route. The move will also help free up some capacity for more international flying with its A330s. The routes have yet to be revealed, but Mr Joyce on Tuesday said Qantas was particularly interested in adding capacity to Hong Kong.

I wouldn't be surprised if the oldest two 747s that aren't refurbed get relegated to domestic shuttling to see their days out. They tend to work the longer range, less competitive JNB and SCQ sectors now but it wouldn't be a huge shock to see them work Perth to Sydney / Melbourne or even the triangle.

There was a post on here the other day detailing the additional capacity the double daily A330 puts on the route. Might be considered an act of war by the old friend/foe CX.
