Mel - LHR - We are flying QF 9 Mel/LHR, am wondering how long is the stopover in Dubai and is it the same aircraft that continues or is a change required? During the stopover we will be using the F lounge, if it is a change in aircraft is it far from arrival gate to departure gate? Thanks heaps.

The stopover is approx. 90 mins, in which you will leave the plane, taking all carry on with you. You then proceed through security, following the red connections signs. Take the escalators upstairs which will take you to the duty free. The EK lounges are a short walk, then take the lift to the lounges. If you are in the lounge the boarding will occur from the lounge and you take the lift to the relevant boarding area. The same plane is used.
