Hello, having recently traveled on Air New Zealand codeshare flights operated by Singapore Airlines and Air Canada (Singapore-London; London-Vancouver), I now realise that such flights booked in economy "L" are not eligible for Air New Zealand airpoints. Does anyone know whether any other Star Alliance frequent flyer programs will credit them, or is it likely to be a blanket exclusion across them all?

Under *A rules, you can transfer the flights to another *A FF program. However the booking class will be carried over thus not earning any points no matter what program you use.

You have to be vary careful when flying on Air NZ to ensure that you are on a NZ flight # AND on NZ metal. Partner airlines incliding *A (even if flying on a full-fare type) will never earn Airpoints or Status Points at the same rate as NZ operated flights (exception is VA trans-tasman flights, SQ to SIN and CX to HKG).

I am experiencing similar issues right now after Flying V class with Thai and trying to find a program that will give me points.
