Last night, Air New Zealand sent their newest Dreamliner (ZK-NZC) to LAX as flight NZ4. Does anyone know the reason why? Usually this service is operated by 772.

They have the 789 rostered on for flights through October, I assume in order to let them finish off the last of the 772 refurbs.
I did some dummy bookings and the 787-9 is on the route every few days.
Uh ok thanks Jack. Yea I thought it had something to do with the 772 Refurb.
