Can anyone recommend any good aircraft discussion forums? Ausbt is focussed on the travel experience and aircraft in that context so am looking for a sight more relevant to the aircraft themselves and their technology etc.

PPRuNe can be a bit harsh to those that aren't in the airline industry.
For armchair CEOs airliners.net is the place to go.

The big problem with aircraft discussion sites is that they tend to attract the sort of people who really like discussing aircraft.
