Anyone know whether QF Status Credits expire? If so when do they start to expire?

QF Status don't expire in the context of lifetime status (7000 for lifetime silver, 14000 for lifetime gold), but they're only applicable to your current membership year in the context of your current QF status (350 in one year to earn silver, 300 to retain; 700 to earn gold, 600 to retain; 1400 to earn platinum, 1200 to retain; 2400 for extra priveleges; etc).

Your status credits expire on your annual renewal date.

To find this, log into your account on the Qantas website. Then click on "Your Summary" (in the menu on the left side of the page) and then look at the fourth line in the second box from the top - where it says "Additional status credits required by XX..." This is the day that your balance returns to zero.

Lifetime credits do not expire, however. Every status credit you earn also earns you one lifetime status credit - you can see these in the next box down, labelled "Lifetime Recognition".
