Hello, I am travelling to New York at the end of November and wanted to see what eveyones recommendation is in getting from JFK to Manhattan. A Taxi is USD$52.00 plus Tolls and Tip, however there also seems to be a plenty of competition with the Limo/Town Car companys and they have similiar prices plus tip. Any suggestions on good cheap companies are welcome. Thanks

I would say the best bet is a car service company called Dial 7. You can get them (and book) on the internet www.dial7.com i think they are the most widely used.

I usually catch the AirTrain/Subway as its a cheaper option. However, this depends on when you arrive and your tolerance for hassle.

My suggestion is Dial7 limos. I and friends and colleagues of mine have used them before. They are about the same cost as a taxi and they have been very reliable and efficient. www.dial7.com.
