I flew QF ticket on EK metal last week BNE-SYD (OVERNIGHT) -DXB-FRA-DXB-BNE. I got offered pick up from home near BNE, pick up Sydney domestic to hotel, pick up hotel for Syd departure, none in DXB arrival, but yes for DXB departure and in Frankfurt both in and out and finally when i return home.
In DXB on arrival, you just go to the Emirates Chauffeur Drive desk and show them your boarding pass and ticket. They then allocate you a car - it's really a taxi rank of limos. You don't book that one in advance.
Yeah I would have assumed DXB would be the exception as it's their hub. BKK on the other hand?
