Jetstar dropping International

I am trying to book seats in Jetstar Business Class from Gold Coast to Narita in October/November.  All flights show Business Class "sold out".  Chat with Jetstar gives information that "no business class fares are available on those flights", but will not confirm if business class is actually available on those flights.  Does anyone know if Jetstar are dropping their international business class?

More than likely something to do with that route only, did a check on another JQ route for similar dates and able to see J seats. Maybe that route is getting dropped from the network?

I too am interested in booking JQ business class around November and it looks like flights after 2 September to Japan from Cairns and the Gold Coast are zeroed out in Business Class.

It's odd that all flights on and after 2 September are completely zeroed out in Business and it could mean a few different things including the possible removal of Business seats from Japan flights (something that would not surprise me based on loads).

I don't think that Jetstar will drop all Japan flights but again it might be possible if it will eat into a possible Qantas return into the 3 routes in question (Gold Coast-Tokyo, Cairns-Tokyo and Cairns-Osaka).

Update: Just spoke to Jetstar who have said that Business Class seats on Japanese flights are only released 6-7 months in advanced depending on the route...

Thanks henrus. We shall see closer. Strange that they show "booked out" rather than "not released". But I guess that's Jetstar. You obviously spoke to a more knowledgeable agent than the one I spoke to.
