Hi All,

Flying the 777 from MEL to SIN this week in First (Not Suites) and land in SIN and have a couple hours stop. I then continue onto KUL in SIN J (since there is not F on this route, but least it's been upgraded to International A350!).

Will I have access to the Private Room or just the F lounge?

You will have TPR access, they will probably give you a pass for this at the lounge in MEL.

Access to TPR doesn't matter if you have either SQ First or Suites. The actual First lounge is for passengers travelling in other Star alliance first class or PPS Elite members travelling in J, W or Y on SQ.

Hey Jubbing. If for some reason they do not give you TPR pass keep your First boarding pass as this acts as your key to access the lounge and don't forget to allow time (if needed) to change terminals from 3 (TPR) to the terminal you are departing from - Taylor

from my understanding TPR is only for departing F pax and the the first is for state alliance F, PPS Solitaire and F connecting to J

I did NRT to SIN in first, connecting to ADL in Business. Had private room access, so you should be ok

I did F from LHR to SIN then J on to BNE last week (as no F class to BNE) I had access to TPR having been 'F' and boy was this a good room. Faultless. Quiet. Very good waiting staff. A la carte menu. Large shower rooms.

You'll love it.
