I generally don't use Mastercard, but it is often the only fee-free option available for various online travel agent websites / 12% off Expedia / telcos etc. Are there any other options for a no-fee (or fee negated by some sort of travel credit) rewards Mastercard aside from Coles/QANTAS?
Alternatively, is there any way to work around the fact that Mastercard is often the cheapest/no-free option for merchants?

Trust me if it is 'fee free' you are paying for it elsewhere.

There are plenty of free Mastercards. Though its a bit unreasonable asking for a Free Rewards Card, banks are not charity organisations.
