Looking for some advice please. Not had this situation before.

Got a cracking business class deal with SAS on BNE-SIN-CPH and return.

All the flights are operated by SQ but the SIN-CPH-SIN are SAS flight numbers and the BNE-SIN-BNE are SQ flight numbers

So I'll pick up the Velocity Points and SC's on the SQ flight numbers (my FF number is in the bkg) but can I have my TG FF number on the SAS flights as a Star Alliance member? Can I put two FF programs against a singular booking and ensure I pick up the points on all sectors?

I normally just book with SQ direct but this deal was just too good to pass up. Appreciate any advice or suggestions

Hahaha. This is exactly my itinerary flying out tomorrow. BNE-SIN-CPH then onto AMS. All are SAS numbers except BNE-SIN-BNE.

I was planning to remove all FF's info on the booking (currently it is on velocity), but claim BNE-SIN-BNE using boarding pass and itinerary onto Velocity and the rest onto SQ.

I do not think this would be an issue. Retrospective claims are easier on this situation than being able to get it changed at the gate.

Return on J was $4600. Was an easy decision, flying SQ metal all the way.

I know right - was just the best deal when the equivalent itinerary on an all SQ ticket was ~$6.3K for exactly the same. When I first saw it I thought it was too good to be true and probably had some onerous terms and conditions or next to nil availability but surprisingly it was exactly as it said on the label and had no problems getting dates we wanted!

Good point about doing a retro claim, hadn't thought about that. Keen to know how that all goes when you do it.

Have a great trip!

Hi guys -

How did you go? Were you able to get Velocity Status Credits on the SAS/SIA flight?

Hoping to do the same -

Anthony
