Hi all. I need help with what fare type is used for Velocity status credit calculations on an upcoming trip. We're fly Brisbane to Newark return via Singapore on Singapore Airlines. The BNE to SIN legs don't have premium economy so we're flying economy (Q). The SIN to EWR leg is in premium economy (R). Would we get status credits based on premium economy for the whole trip or part economy, part premium? Thanks.
you will get status credits based on the class for each flight. The BNE-SIN is discount economy 0.5 per mile and R is 1 per mile. Status credits will be as per the calculator on the Velocity site.
See the link below. The tables will help you work out points earn for each sector and status credits however you should get 360 Status credits in total for the return trip.
