Hello, i haven't used the QF SMS service before however have heard it is quite reliable. Does anyone know whether the service is available while overseas? and the number to Text if overseas?
I think it would be. It's a regular mobile number. It is a very good service. Just quote your QFF number, name, registered email address and PNR and they'll do most things very quickly. Great service. Used it a few times now.
Qantas have really lifted their game recently with assistance available via Facebook messenger being fairly reliable, plus now the SMS service which seems even faster.
I think this service is just available in Australia and the UK.
I’m in England at present and used it yesterday. Took about 45 minutes between each message, and about 3 hours overall to fix my issue. However I was able to work on many other things while this was happening, so overall I thought it was quite good.
Just an update, i tried texting the number from overseas, and i didn't get a reply... so for now i can only presume it's only available within Australia. and (UK?)
