Hi community,
I'm Qantas Gold, travelling out of Chicago and will be in the AA Flagship lounge. I would like to bring a guest into the lounge, they'll be travelling out of ORD but on a United ticket.
Do you know if I'm allowed to bring in a guest who's flying on that day but not on an AA (or related partner airline) ticket?

No. And AA is very strict about access to their flagship lounges these days.

No, oneworld lounge guesting rules mean that you'd have to both travel on oneworld flights to be eligible.

Used to be the case but now they're open to Sapphire which equates to Qantas Gold. Also open to international business but no guests allowed.
I imagine this is part of the reason they're so busy now, and maybe why AA is more strict about entry. In the past they would allow a couple of guests but my experience lately has been that they don't do that as readily.

Wow that is awesome, changed jobs and have not flown at all this year so likely to drop from WP (for 10 years) to Lifetime Gold safety net. Should travel next year but will struggle get back to WP

Hi Community,
I was in the Flagship lounge on Tuesday afternoon and asked two separate staff members about the guest rules. Both of them confirmed that as a OW Sapphire member I am entitled to bring a guest into the lounge and they don't need to be flying on an AA, QF, or OW partner airline.
I explained that I wanted to bring in a guest who is flying out on United - they both stated that it didn't matter. If I'm eligible to enter I can bring a guest with me.
The Flagship lounge wasn't too busy from 4-7pm. It was busy around the food but there was no issues getting a seat.

This is not correct actually - you just need to flying international in either business or first, or have oneworld sapphire or emerald. To access the Flagship First dining, you need to be flying in First class, with AA and certain other airlines.

Kefci You don't even need to be flying international to access the Flagship lounge. QF Gold or Platinum on any AA domestic flight works, and that applied to me yesterday
