Hi Guys,

Was hoping the experts here would suggest me how best to get to Tallinn in Estonia return from Melbourne using my Velocity Points. At the moment i have 315,000 velocity points and was wondering how best to use them to get to Tallinn.

Multiple Airlines is ok.

Thanks in advance.

Fly to Helsinki and get the ferry across which works out as a bonus getting to see Helsinki too. The ferry is massive with shopping and dining(A la carte or buffet) on board as well. I think it takes 2-3 hrs from memory. You can sit on outdoor decks at front side or back. There are cabins too you can purchase tickets for but not really worth it for the short ride.

You can book SQ or EY to an EU port then a separate flight. Or if you book through SQ by transferring VFF to KrisFlyer you could book MEL-FRA-TLL.

If transferring points from VFF to KF, there is a loss in the operation of the transfer.

You do loose 45% of the value, this is something to keep in mind.

Better to see if there are any EY rewards seats direct, rather than putting the VFF points to KF.
