Virgin Australia A330 schedule between Brisbane and Perth

Does anyone know if the VA A330 operates from Perth direct to Brisbane and if it does which days ??

At present, no A330 for VA on BNE>PER>BNE route. (Only the occasional flight (VA470 on Sunday 23/FEB)).

The Ex HKG Aircraft will be deployed on BNE>HND>BNE Route (VA76/VA77) and BNE>MEL>BNE (3 times a week: Mon, Wed, Fri; VA322 and VA309) plus extra service on MEL/SYD to PER.

Qantas sure have it all over VA with Business Class out of Brisbane by having A330 aircraft on some flights to Perth.

VA is far better service but certainly no match when one has to travel on the VA B737 compared to a QF A330.

Currently just once a week on Sunday. As of mid-April it will revert to an evening departure on both Friday and Sunday outbound to Perth, which is generally quite consistent. The recent A330 flights from BNE have had strong loads so I dare say there will be a couple more scheduled with the fleet having some more spare hours now.

FYI - Qantas only flies 1x A330 between Brisbane and Perth and that's the midnight horror flight I think Monday to Thursday only. Even in business you would only get max say 3-4hours of sleep after take off/prior to decent on a 4.5hr flight. Not worth the hassle just to lie flat, prefer a day flight with a decent meal service watching movies on a 737 any day.
