Earn triple, quadruple Accor Le Club points on hotel stays

Le Club Accorhotels members travelling within the Asia Pacific region, including in Australia, can earn either triple or quadruple points at hotel brands including Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel and Mercure.

Classic, Silver and Gold members of the program can pocket three times as many points, while top-tier Platinum guests are treated to the full quadruple bonus.

Being a French company, Accor works out how many points to award based on your spend in Euros, or the equivalent in a hotel's local currency.

Using today's exchange rate, a Classic member would net 25 points per A$13.90, which trebles to 75 points after registering for the promotion.

Elite Silver, Gold and Platinum members already receive a higher number of points when staying at Accor hotels, yet these bonuses don't apply to the full bounty.

Instead, the bonuses are calculated on the 'base points' you collect – being the same number of points as awarded to a Classic member – and it's this figure that is either tripled or quadrupled, with your usual status bonus stacked on top.

For example, €10 (A$13.90) normally buys a Platinum member 44 points – 25 points at the base rate, with the remaining 19 points earned as a status bonus.

Through this deal, quadruple points are first awarded on that 25-point base rate, while that status bonus of 19 points is added on the side for a total haul of 119 points.

To earn either triple or quadruple points, you’ll need to book and stay at Accor hotels in the Asia Pacific region by July 31 2015, and register for the promotion before arriving at the hotel.

There’s no limit to the number of times you can take advantage of this bonus offer, so register today on the Accor website – here for Classic, Silver and Gold members, or here for Platinums – and start booking your hotel stays.
