Fiji Airways adds more flights for Melbourne, Auckland

Fiji Airways is boosting flights to Melbourne and Auckland from this week.

Melbourne-Nadi gains two extra flights per week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, bringing the service up to a convenient daily frequency.

Auckland-Nadi also picks up more flights to take the tally to 11 flights per week. The new schedule lists two evening flights from Nadi to Auckland, which turn around to become two additional early morning departures from Auckland to Nadi.

In addition, Sydney-Nadi and Christchurch-Nadi will see more flights during the peak periods of July, October, December and January.

All of the new flights will take place on a Boeing 737 aircraft with 8 business class seats (shown below) and 114 seats in economy.

Fiji Airways is also launching a weekly Saturday direct flight between Nadi and Honiara, in the Solomon Islands, from July 5.
