Never set foot inside an Emirates' Airbus 380? Now you can take a stickybeak around the superjumbo courtesy of Google Maps.
Camera-toting employees of Google Maps Streeview project – or should they now be calling it Planeview? – took Google's mapping tech onto an Emirates A380 parked at the dedicated A380 concourse at Dubai International Airport.
Virtual viewers can check out the inflight bars including some of the drinks and snacks on offer, the seats (and their legroom), the deluxe first class suites and the in-flight shower suites (usually seen only by first class passengers).
You can even scope out the view from the flight deck.
To switch between floors, click the 'E' button to visit the lower deck or hit 'B' to jump to the upper floor.

It is really cool and I reckon that all airlines should do similar virtual tours. Though it did not make me fan of Emerald - "luxuries" look really fake like in carton or toy store, especially fake wood that evidently plastic even on photos. YMMV.

Cathay Pacific used to have a virtual tour and virtual service way back on 2007 in all its cabins- so one could virtually order first class food as well
