PREVIOUS | Leaked photos of Singapore Airlines' all-new Airbus A380 first class suites seemingly reveal spacious 'apartments in the sky' with a swivelling leather armchair and seperate bed.
The over-sized suites shown in the spy snaps, which appear to be mock-ups located in an office, are significantly larger than the airlines' current first class cabins and mimic those of Gulf rival Etihad Airways, although the contemporary colour scheme is bound to prove controversial.
However, it's believed that only some of the six suites have the ability to have the partition between the luxe cribs lowered to create a twin bed arrangement.
These close-up shots of what are said to be SQ's new suites provide extra detail on the fittings...
... including concealed nooks with an inbuilt vanity mirror.
High sliding doors provide privacy for primo passengers.
And here we see what's said to be the spacious washroom located at the front-right corner of the first class cabin with plenty of room to change into and out of your PJs.
A second, more standard-sized lav sits at the front-left corner of the cabin.
The photos were shared overnight on social media websites FlyerTalk, SQTalk and The MileLion ahead of Singapore Airlines' official launch of its next-gen first class and business class on Thursday November 2.
The new suites and seats will debut on Singapore Airlines' newest Airbus A380, which will fly between Singapore and Sydney from December 18 2017 as SQ221/SQ232, and also be rolled out across the rest of the superjumbo fleet.

residence = $100k return SYD-LHR so that's like saying is gives less space than hiring a private jet...

Nice one AusBT! They look great. Agree with the contrversial colour scheme which they started in Premium Economy. Not sure it works although it might be better live.
Meanwhile, someone in product at SQ is looking for a new job.

Disagree. SQ doesn't need to drum up advance publicity, the anticipation is already very high, and the quality of the pics also doesn't show the product in its best light. Airlines keep as tight a lid on these things as they can in order to control the exercise. This is a random leak and I'd say that if SQ ever finds out somebody's head is going to roll!

Impressive amount of space! I think it will look better in the flesh. It appears to me that the photos don't do the level of finish justice, including detailing/texture in the various elements. Just a guess.

Not sure as to why the colour scheme is considered controversial? Is it too similar to Etihad?

I'd say it's because it isn't the high range of colours and deeper tones of SQ's most recent B777 first class and business class this looks more like the colours used for SQ's premium economy seat. I personally prefer this as it's lighter and more modern.

I can't be the only one who thinks that these photo's look like renderings more than actual 'photos'?
Because it almost feels like Singapore signature splashes of color (subtle ones) are missing.

The first and last photos look like a rendering but the other photos aren't, you can see a lot more detail such as the wallpaper pattern and also note the plastic sheeting on the floor in several photos.

Did notice the plastic sheet - I don't think it's 100% finished - I think we'll be more impressed when we see launch photos tomorrow (with the color scheme, nothing against the cabin itself which looks great)

Not that I'll ever have to be concerned about it, but I would feel claustrophobic isolated in these little compartments.

It remains a rumour, albeit one based on Singapore Airlines' A380 suite availability (limited to six suites rather than 12) on certain flights from March 1 – we'll see if SQ has anything route-wise to share tomorrow.

Its fine if they didnt charge the same as the suites/apartments of other airlines...same is true of all their cabins. SQ pricing for average product.
