IN BRIEF | Malaysia Airlines will begin daily direct services between Brisbane and Kuala Lumpur from June 20.
MAS currently runs five flights per week between the cities, but says its upgrading the schedule as part of its continued expansion in Australia.

The return leg on MH135 leaves Kuala Lumpur at 9.40am, arriving into Brisbane at 7.45pm the same day.
The daily flights will continue to be operated by MAS' new A330-300 aircraft.

Earlier this week Malaysia Airlines revealed plans to upgrade both of the daily Sydney-Kuala Lumpur flights to an Airbus A330-300 jet by April 1.
Now part of the Oneworld alliance, MAS passengers can also funnel their frequent flyer points back towards Qantas rather than the airline's own Enrich program – although the earn rate at which MAS miles are magicked into Qantas points is exceptionally low, with only 0.75 Qantas points per mile in business class (and no cabin bonus) for flights between Australia and Malaysia.
