Double dip on points with Air France/KLM and Accor

Double dip on points with Air France/KLM and Accor

In the long run of loyalty, every point counts – so the opportunity to 'double dip' makes plenty of sense if it helps you snare that airline seat, hotel room or an upgrade on either.

With that in mind, many of our European readers will be pleased to take advantage of a unique partnership between Air France/KLM and Accor which lets members chalk up airline miles and hotel points at the same time.

Under the Miles + Points hookup, members of the Le Club Accorhotels program – which later this year will transition to Accor ALL, with new Diamond and Black tiers – will earn a half-point per Euro spent on Air France and KLM flights, in addition to what they'd accrue in the airlines' Flying Blue scheme.

Likewise, there's the ability to earn one Flying Blue mile per Euro spent on staying at any Accor property, on top of pocketing your normal serve of Le Club Accorhotels points.

There's also the option to convert Flying Blue miles to Le Club Accorhotels points, and vice versa.

The 'exchange rate' sees 4,000 Flying Blue miles translate into 1,000 Le Club Accorhotels points, while 2,000 Le Club Accorhotels points can be magicked into 1,000 Flying Blue miles.

Ready to start double-dipping? Just head to the Flying Blue and Le Club Accorhotels website and link your accounts.
