Qantas hosts 'tweet & greet' Twitter social media event

UPDATE | All spaces for the inaugural Qantas Tweet and Greet are now filled. Yes, they went very fast!
PREVIOUS | Qantas is getting its social media mojo into gear for the airline's first 'tweet and greet' event.
To be held in Sydney on Saturday December 1st, the airline says "you'll meet other Qantas and social media enthusiasts on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Qantas A380 in our Sydney Hangar."
This dose of up-close aviation geekery will be "followed by a relaxed lunch at the Qantas Business Lounge at Terminal 3".
The gathering is open to the public but there's a "strictly limited number of guests".
So if you want to take part, make haste to the Qantas Tweet and Greet registration page to sign up.
