Qantas launches 'retro' travel bags, tags and accessories

Qantas is going all-out on 'retro' with the launch of new retro-themed travel accessories to complement this month's arrival of a Boeing 737-800 decked out in 1970s-inspired livery.
Like that #retroroo jet, these accessories feature the iconic 'flying kangaroo' (back when the 'roo actually had wings, before they were clipped in a 1984 redesign).
There's a Retro Toiletry Bag selling for $40, with two zippered compartments and interior mesh pockets; a $15 Retro Luggage Tag; the $20 Retro Passport Holder and the larger Retro Travel Document Holder ($25), all four of which the airline boasts as being "made from classic retro vinyl."
They're all sale at the online Qantas Shop... now we're only hoping they are joined by a model Boeing 737-800 in its eye-catching retro livery.
(Qantas already sells a Boeing 747-400 in the same stripe, in case you'd rather decorate your desk with that majestic jumbo.
The full-size Boeing 737-800 dressed in 1970s Qantas livery – and named James Strong, in honour of the former Qantas CEO who passed away in 2013 – will depart from Seattle’s Boeing Field airport on Monday November 17 and arrive at Sydney Airport’s T1 terminal on Wednesday November 19 shortly before noon.
Aviation enthusiasts can track the inbound flight of the Boeing 737-800 (which carries the registration number VH-XZP) as QF6024.
In keeping with the theme, Qantas will also serve up a range of ‘classic retro dishes’ at its airport lounges this month, with a trio of fashionable meals of the 1970s given a subtle modern twist.

Funny thing happened.
I click on the picture of the 737 to see a larger image and what appeared was an image of a 'retro lounge'

It would be great if they made the Retro Toiletry Bag the Business and/or First Class amenity bag, even if it were just for a month or two

These are not new. Not even close to it. They have been selling on the qantasshop.com.au site since at least last year when I purchased the bag, tag, and passport holder.
Nice product and very happy. However they are definately not new

Probably just cashing in on the hype behind the 737 livery. A bit dodgy to mark these old products as "new" but it has clearly worked.

I agree, they're definitely not new. I purchased the passport/document holder last year from 'qantasshop.com.au' Whilst it looks great, it's not terrible functional. They made it about 1cm shorter than the width of a boarding pass or piece of A4 paper. This makes it fairly useless when trying to fold flight and hotel itineraries in it.
