Singapore Airlines adds daily A380 to Frankfurt

IN BRIEF | Singapore Airlines will introduce the Airbus A380 on its daily SQ25/26 service from Singapore to Frankfurt (and thence on to New York) from 15 January, replacing the current Boeing 747 and providing Qantas' Sydney-Singapore-Frankfurt passengers with an appealing option over the Red Roo's own Boeing 747 service.

Here's the timetable for the flights:

If you're looking for the best business class seats to book on these flights, check out our Best Seats guide for SQ's A380.

And, as these flights will use SQ's original A380 layout with economy cabin at the rear of the upper deck – instead of the latest all-business class top floor – if you're making the trek in economy, we recommend the small upstairs cabin as it's quieter and has a more intimate feel than downstairs.

Bring on the A380 (or updated 747s) on QF5/6, then!  That flight is always jammed full.
