I agree with mviy. Im Platinum with both, and book fully flexible for Perth to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane so for me it comes down to which company is flying the a330 at the time I wish to travel.

Neil, the point is, Qantas announce pre-flight it's for business only, but don't do anything about it, Virgin mention it and enforce it. I'm an avid fan of Qantas, I'm simply highlighting an easy way to fix the issue :)Cheers

It's happening on domestic flights as well, I'm waiting on VA credits from November. What absolutely stumps me is why cant Virgin have a system like Qantas whereby the credits and points are there by the time you've touched down?
