Vodafone $5/day roaming for India, South Africa, Malaysia, Fiji

Vodafone will add India, South Africa, Malaysia and Fiji to the roster of countries covered by its $5/day global roaming deal from September 9 and offer unlimited calls to ten countries including New Zealand, the USA, the UK and China as the third-placed carrier ramps up its appeal to Aussie globetrotters.
The network's Red Roaming scheme now extends to over 50 countries including the USA, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong and much of Europe (although Canada remains a noticeable omission).
Under Red Roaming, subscribers on post-paid plans can use their monthly data, text and call allowance in those countries for an additional $5 per day.
The deal also includes unlimited standard calls back to Australia as well as within the country you're currently in, plus free text messaging.
Vodafone says these additions to the list will see Red Roaming available in all of the top 10 short-term destinations travelled to by Australians in 2014, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Red Roaming was recognised as the Best Travel Innovation in our Australian Business Traveller 2015 Awards.
Vodafone's SIM-only plans at $50/month and above will also allow unlimited calls to standard landline and mobile numbers in New Zealand, the USA, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, India, Thailand, Malaysia and South Korea.
Finally, even the cheapest Vodafone plans will now include unlimited standard national calls and texts.

If only they would add this sort of thing to the prepaid roaming.

And with a 90 day soft limit 'imposed' I had been careful in that past, however everytime I call up and ask where I am at I always get the same response of "oh we can't check that". I'm sitting at the 70 day mark by my calculations so far! Will be interesting when I'm away for a full month in October.

Vodafone is the market leader in global roaming.....love this deal.....please bring more countries....UAE , South Africa next!
