I thought there was a Business / Premium immigration line but it was just as slow... the trick I learned was to walk really quickly from plane to immigration. You will find the locals walk very quickly - keep up :-)
I have departed out of BOM on Business/First lane, but have never arrived into BOM. This also applies for immigration and security, which is a huge plus.
Think it also depends on whether you have a visa yet or not, I know last time I was there pre-COVID they had a separate line for those who had an e-visa and needed processing for the visa first.
