I am travelling to Hawaii for a month shortly, and am trying to sort out a phone service provider. I would prefer something that uses 3/4G, but I am having difficulties finding a network that is compatible with my International version of the Nexus 5. As per the website:
Rest of world:
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/6/8
LTE: Bands: 1/3/5/7/8/20
The problem is finding out which service providers use GSM or LTE frequencies/bands that will support my phone. Having data is a must. I would very much appreciate your advice!
