Flying on the upgraded a332 business suite (Qantas) with a colleague. What are the best seats to be able to communicate together? Middle pairs or 4F&3K (6f&5k maybe) combo.

From experience, I would say the better seats for communication between two colleagues would be 3K & 4F or 5K & 6F. Due to the fixed privacy screen, the middle pairs are not really ideal for your need.
