Quincy Hotel Melbourne makes its debut on Flinders Lane

Melbourne’s CBD is now home to the latest funky and fresh hotel with the opening of Quincy Hotel Melbourne on Flinders Lane, as part of the TFE Hotels portfolio.

With 241 guestrooms nestled just around the corner from Southern Cross Station, the property targets business travellers and leisure guests alike with cocktails on arrival, a rooftop Club Lounge and bar, and access to a range of local experiences curated for hotel guests.

Looking for a standard room? You’ll find it branded ‘Celestial’ here, with ‘Caledonian’ rooms the next step up: on-par with ‘deluxe’ rooms at other hotels.

For Club Lounge amenities, look to a ‘Hosier’ room or suite instead – and like all other rooms here, guests can enjoy views of the city and surrounds via floor-to-ceiling windows.

Of course, with the Club Lounge doubling as Q Bar, other guests can visit and purchase drinks and snacks, with the hotel also offering cooking and cocktail-making classes, as well as ‘surprise and delight’ pop-up hallway tables with cocktails and mocktails for guests to enjoy.

The rooftop is also home to a pool, with two eateries found on the ground floor and level one.

SingSong offers coffee and bubble tea in the morning, Asian-inspired spritzes and bite-sized treats in the evening, flowing through to laneway dining outdoors.

Salted Egg, the hotel’s main restaurant, instead spans all of level one and doubles as a bar and restaurant with a broader dining menu.

The hotel describes itself as “an extraordinary escape from the everyday,” with a focus on “anticipatory hospitality.”

As General Manager Christian Price explains, “we want to know what makes our guests tick long before they walk through our doors, providing VVIP service minus the fuss or over-the-top fanfare.”

Hotel room keys double as ‘golden tickets’, which may grant complimentary access to nearby haunts and hotspots, provide free Uber codes, or unlock additional drinks and perks at the hotel.

Rooms start at $250 per night, with an opening discount of 20% on the Best Available Rate.
