Unsure if this is best place to post this but wondering if anyone has any experience flying on Qantas with Qatar Gold status? Is there anyway that you make use of the luggage allowance and lounge but earn Qantas points and status?
I think you're out of luck with luggage allowance, but I regularly have my Gold Qff number on my booking but then at lounge arrival show my Qatar Platinum FF card to get domestic business lounge access instead of just the Qantas Club.
