I am P1 and have EK flights and DSC flights booked in the month leading up to my FF expiry date. Qantas take up to 6 weeks to credit status credits via EK or DSCso how do I make sure they are credited before my expiry date after flights taken

You could try a missing points claim after a week and see if that goes through.
Anyways, QF sticks with the date of when the flight was taken and the SC are booked for the month they belong to. So even if they arrive after your cutoff date for the membership year they'll then be retrospectively taken into account and adjust your status (if it's enough to retain).
I had this a couple of times - you get 2 bookings - one for earning the SC and another one for “expired SC”. But never the case of status change. If it's messed up you'll have to call QF.
