A quick question re Qantas cash card (which I have just received) or other similar such cards. I am going to the US soon and have a large amount of US cash, are there any such travel cash cards that allow you to deposit physical cash into such an account and then use a travel card to withdraw cash or pay using the card? Thanks

Short answer, no. But you might be able get a prepaid visa or MasterCard from Walmart or similar store in the USA.

Thanks, as expected. I was hoping that perhaps 1 of the banks had an offering that would meet my needs. I might try the prepaid option when I get there if it is easy enough, I don't want to waste time filling out forms etc.
