Where are our independent journalists from the broadsheets to investigate,analyse and report on the supposed inconsistencies of the Navigations Act, Qantas Sale Act etc as well as the claims by QF and VA?
Has there been such an article in the papers that I have missed?
I challenge our journalists to look into this.

You don't find independent journos on broadsheets. I'd say the closest you will get is Ben Sandilands, however he's a bit cranky some days.

I'd like to see Michael Pascoe tackle this one - he has previously written some interesting articles on Qf (google QF and Michael Pascoe).
Journalists these days hide behind the "its news" excuse for failing to dig below the surface and offer andy informed critical analysis.
That's if they can even be bothered to get the "news" bit right and push against the tide of proprietor bias.
My father was an old school journalist and had many a stoush with Thatcher, especially when trying to provide unbiased and informed coverage of the Falklands war...but that's another story!
