Qantas flights change due to Dubai runway works

Dubai runway works - (an announcement rather than a question). SMH states that QF has kept it slots during DXB's runway works:

*QF1 flight will depart around 90 minutes later

*QF9 flight will depart four hours later

*Return journeys to Australia will remain largely unchanged

I guess this gives them some yucky arrival times into DXB from SYD/MEL. I wonder how they arrange the later arrivals into LHR.

That is slots come and go.When changing times in DXB you would have to consider what's on offer in LHR.They would keep their original slot to go back to after the runway works are completed.
