Attended a 2hr market research focus group tonight for Qantas...$200 incentive for each of the 16 participants. We had to develop rival pitches based upon the idea of either Home, Spirit and Professionalism. Cuts are being made but certainly not in the creative/marketing quarters...Interesting times.

I did a similar focus group about 2 years ago.Each of our group tried out five of what were described potential International Business seats concepts.I can tell you each seats looked nothing like the business class seats they offer today or the new A330 suites as presented by Qantas to the ABT.One of the seats i tried was in my opinion much more comfortable in all modes, in particular lie flat.Allways wondered were that seat went !
