Qantas business class lounge access when flying on emirates code share in economy with OW Sapphire?

Hi - i'm flying MEL-AKL booked on a qantas ticket but code-sharing with emirates in economy. Does anyone know if i'll have access to the Qantas international business class lounge via my OW sapphire membership?

Good question Chris! Technically you're not allowed to as the rule requires you to fly on a OW marketed and operated flight. But I'm curious to hear the experience of others. Have the Qantas lounge dragons been enforcing this rule?

Is it an EK code on ticket or QF code? Are you OW sapphire with Qantas or another airline?

If you a OW sapphire, but not QF Gold and flying on EK in economy, you are not eligible to access the QF business lounge, as the flight must be operated and marketed by a OW carrier.  If you a QF gold to access the lounge the "Next onward flight that day must be on a Qantas^, Emirates^, Jetstar Airlines+ or oneworld operated and marketed flight."

driley28,

Assuming pax is a non-QF Sapphire/Emerald, do you know or have you heard of cases when pax are allowed access to the lounge when on a QF coded flight but operated by EK?
