Does anyone use Expertflyer?

Do you find that the inventory information on Expert Flyer for QF appear to differ from that, which Qantas call centre staff access?

Yes one is in a sales mode and the other provides real seats as eliminated by QF load control..reel simple.

Thanks Robert,

So which one is in sales mode? Expertflyer or QF?

I'm finding that Expert Flyer has located inventory that the Qantas call centre staff says is not available.

Booth Sirr are in sales mode one being the QF call center which sells by class as to whats on screen eg p/j/d /y/o/ect.The other uses yeild management system that projects real loads.TRB what is projected and what they sell is no show factor based on same flight in the past year and in the recent 30days plus. They also factor weight restrictions per aircraft and recent over bookings which are most common.Take LAX it has more over bookings than any QF port, plenty of corperate travel in preimium cabins, miss connects..more so in the northern winter, snow whatever ,LA traffic delays, death in the family/illness.I can tell you back in the late 90,s when i was in operations at LAX the no show factor was plus 40 regular and worse on weekends but generally cleared when pax moved to other flighs where necessary.QF call center can not sell whats not availabe to them.
