Does anyone know if Qantas status credits are earned when booking Air Berlin J class (BKK to JFK) and several of the flights are with EY codeshare?

Does anyone know if Qantas status credits are earned when booking Air Berlin J class (BKK to JFK) and several of the flights are with EY codeshare? ie. Air Berlin 4227 (BKK to AUH, which is operated by EY?) Trying to maximise SCs as want to retain platinum. Thanks for any info in advance.

No status credits - with Airberlin flight numbers, the actual flight must also be operated by a Oneworld airline to accrue Qantas points and status.

See: https://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/dyn/partners/airline/airberlin#earning-points

("Qantas Points and Status Credits are not earned on codeshare flights operated by airlines other than oneworld® Alliance Airlines.")

Oneworldflyer,

Choose AY on that route. It is as cheap, if not only marginally more expensive but you accrue all points and SC and no dramas accessing the Oneworld lounges at BKK and JFK.
